In development · Accounts are not available today
The idea in practice.
Tervra is developing a business account for UK B2B businesses using their own funds, with payment understanding and supporting evidence alongside it. Accounts, cards and payments are not available today.
Today’s money and future commitments
A recorded balance, an available balance and a planning estimate answer different questions. The design labels them separately and avoids filling missing figures with zero.
Context for decisions
Expected receipts, unpaid commitments and earmarked money can help a person understand the position. A forecast is not a promise that money will arrive or permission to spend.
Availability comes first
Provider arrangements and specific payment services remain to be confirmed. Accounts are not available today; early access is discovery, not an account application.
A useful starting point for the day.
Open the account to see its balance and recent activity, then follow a payment to its detail. Holds and pending instructions need their own labels so the available amount has an explanation. A missing figure should remain unavailable until the current record can be checked.
From the same workspace, move into invoices, payment decisions or supporting evidence. The aim is to reduce the distance between noticing a number and understanding it.
Give different purposes their own place.
Everyday spending, savings and tax preparation can need different views. The proposed design gives separate accounts their own balances and transaction histories. An internal transfer identifies both accounts and records both sides of the movement.
A budgeting earmark serves a different purpose: it labels money within an account. It does not create a new balance or move funds. See Savings and the Tax account for those proposed journeys.
